48.00

Misty Branches is a kiln fired enamel “painting” using a high fired technique set in a white open frame (no glass) so that the picture can be touched and you can enjoy the tactile surface. The piece uses a number of different colored enamels that have been pushed to it limits in the kiln creating the gold, white and blue tones in the piece.

The enamel picture measure 4 cm by 8 cm and the frame measures 15.5 cm by 18 cm. The frame is backed with white card and signed by myself.

Enamelling is the process in which powdered glass is fused onto metal (I used copper with this picture) using a kiln. Due to the nature of this process, no piece will ever be the same.

I teach enamelling at my workshop in Worcestershire. I teach complete beginners and intermediate courses, please feel free to visit the workshops part of the website or contact me directly for more information or to book a workshop.

If you like the picture but not the colours, please feel free to contact us as I might be able to make in a different colour more suited to you. But please note, they will not be identical
