Beginners Glass Fusing Workshop, run on various dates
Suitable for all abilities, we will begin with a brief description of what glass fusing is, the types of glass in the studio, the tools you will be using and design options available to you.
After the demonstration of how to safely cut the glass, you will start to make your own earrings and pendants , sun catcher or picture to name but a few items that you can make from the large selection of coloured glass, stringers, confetti, frit and millefiore.
You will create several pieces of glass artwork during this session.
The course runs from 2pm to 5pm
About the Course
Teresa will begin with a brief description of what glass fusing is, the types of glass in the studio, the tools you will be using and design options available to you. After the demonstration of how to safely cut the glass you will start to make your own fused glass pieces from the large selection of coloured glass, stringers, confetti, frit and millefiore. You will be free to create different fused glass items, there will be lots of examples, and the session allows for lots of creativity. .
Once you've finished your work, it'll be fired in a kiln for you. We will let you know when your work is ready to collect, or you can arrange to have it posted to you at additional cost.
